Althought my wedding is in August 2013 - there are a lot of details that are stressing me out already.
Any thought on where should my little sleep over on the wedding night:
    - keeping him with us?
    - asking member of family to return at ours so that little man can sleep in his bed? but this is delicate because it means they would have to return pretty early?
    - hiring a babysitter? not comfortable with that though...
Any advise? how did you do?
    Caroline X

    How old is he?

We were having that issue but since my dad passed away my mum has changed her room froma double to a twin and my lad is going to sleep in her room. That way I can still put him to bed and we can all be together for breakfast in the morning :) x

Why can't he sleep somewhere other than his own bed? Somewhere else would probably be a big adventure for him :)

he is spending the night before the wedding in his own bed, as im staying at home, but the night of the wedding he is going to be in mum and dads room at the hotel, so he only away for the night. he will be 2, and whilst he is ok with being away from us, he plays up for granny and grandad as he knows he gets away with it (which i dont mind, because he rarely stays there) but i dont particully want a tired child or parents at my wedding lol

We're coming home the night of our wedding and bringing all 3 kids with us. I'm taking a travel cot to the reception venue so that my 2 youngest (1&2) can go to sleep in there if necessary before it finishes. None of our family have offered to have our 3 - but its a lot of upheavel and a lot of organising to sort 3 kiddies out.

My little boy will be 3 when we get married & will be staying with his Aunty & cousin :)
I know what you mean that it would be brilliant if hes in his own bed, but for one night, im sure he will love it. i know my son does. & he will be shattered anyway so no trouble of him going sleep that night :)

thanks for your reply. he will be 2 and half years old. I think I'll ask the in-laws to have him in hotel room with them. He doesn't mind being away - it is me stressing out about it! I love him so much!!! And the idea of bringing a cot at the redeption is brillant - he can have a lie down before getting to bed :-)

We have asked the venue to put a z bed in the bridal suite lol but she also has the option to go home with my sister,We will see how things go on the night. In a way i would quite like her to be there in the morning so that we can all have breakfast together(there are lots of other family members staying at the hotel too and she would enjoy seeing them over breakfast but she would also love spending the night at my sisters) It will be her call on the day! xxx
