Wedding Forum - Where is everyone going on their honeymoon?...

We are going to Mexico the last two weeks in Mexico.

lol dove xxxxx were going to scotland, isle of skye. a little cottage in the middle of nowhere! just me and my man x no interuptions! xxx bliss xxxalot of friends have spent alot on honeymoons but then never left the room ;-) xx

We are going to mauritius. We originally wanted the maldives, but I didnt like the idea of being on one tiny island for 2 weeks, one is okay. I found there was more to do in mauritius.
It was £3000 but we had tesco clubcard vouchers so we paid £2500

Well I THINK we are going to Mexico anyway... I'm not supposed to know! Hes also mentioned Morecombe and Toulouse/Paris.

very excited but ive come down wi a cold this mornin so hoping it will shift b4 the wedding but im not stressin about it cos ive done enough stressing im just gonna relax now (well try) and enjoy my last few days x

My other half only has 5 days holiday this year so we're just gonna do Vegas. Dont know what hotel to choose though as theres so many. Anyone been?

We stupidly only put £1500 in the budget for a honeymoon and guickly realised its not going far.. so we're going to go on day trips out and spend like a couple possessed... im quite excited

Even thinking of maybe getting another bassett hound to extend our family

BTW, I've to the Caribeen in hurricane season before- I was over there for a month working. We had rainfall on a few afternoons, a hurricane for two days in the middle and just missed one at the end. Rest of the time it was lovely weather.
And the rain isn't like here- its warmer and fresher (if that makes sense).

been to the caribbean in hurricane season.as dove said it doesn't rain much and it sort of resets the heat a little bit (if you know what I mean) It can get a lot more humid tho and there are a lot more mosquitos after the rain. I most definately recommend going to the caribbean the people are so lovely and welcoming and the islands are just so beautiful.

We're not really having a proper honeymoon. We're taking our kids on days out around Sussex....although my mum is trying to talk us into going to Florida for Disneyworld and Universal (they have a Harry Potter world and I love the movies and I've read the books like a million times, i'm such a child!! lol) xx

if you have the money hun, you should go. i think it would be amazing going to disneyland, but karl wont let me, maybe when we have kids we will go. xx

We're going to Hastings for our Honeymoon and staying in the same lil boutique hotel that we spent our first holiday in :0)
We both absolutely love it there and love being so close to the sea .... can think of no other place we'd like to be than spending time walking along the beach, munching on fish and chips and spending 2 pences like crazy - coming home with armfuls of tat and sticks of rock!! xxx

for all that money that it costs - it wud have to be absolutely perfect all the way thru - and tbh nothing is always perfect!

we met abroad whilst repping so we def wanna go abroad - as we both feel more at home in the sun kinda thing.

just wanna go somewhere far away lol

Been to St Lucia, some of the friendliest people I've ever had the chance to meet (apart from this site obviously, heehee)
Been to Barbados, it is nice but the beaches are owned by the natives so you get sellers hassling you alot and Jamaican people (the hotel we went to anyway) seem to favour Americans. xx

2 years ago we went to Egypt for our first holiday we went to Taba and stayed in the Marriott there is was lovely, we want to go at some point, was funny because the first 3 days as h2b surname is Marriott they couldn't do enough for us then i signed Ebbs oops haha actually saying that they were just as nice but they seemed impressed with his name haha

If you go All Inclusive you won't have to pay for a thing but if you only go full board, your drinks will be expensive(had some friends that went and made this mistake). We can't afford to go there until the year after the wedding, but will probably book something last minute for our honeymoon :)

Winter wedding/honeymoon for me - I want to go and (try to) see the Northern Lights, and see some reindeer.

mexico is lush - esp cancun!!!! downtown cancun is fab!!!! x

Probably a week in wales or scotland just after the wedding so we can have some time away, then hopefully in the january (we're getting married in november) go to the galapagos islands if we can afford it, might wait for the year after instead as a way to celebrate our first wedding anniveersary

To add to the Vegas hotel Roll Call- the Stratosphere and the MGM Grand. Fantastic time!

Ye I defo agree with the Vegas comments I stayed in Circus Circus to and was fine for all we were in it. Also go to the Statosphere roof restaraunt if you get a chance (its revolving) xx

im going to sri lanka and getting married there been there a few yrs back and loved it, you should try getting some quotes as its not the expensive go all inc too im going to a town called kalutara x
