    HIIIIIIIIII

First of decide where you want to get married home, abroad, civil or church???
Then now that you've set the date decide on the budget. Once youve done that set a guest list which will give you an idea for how big or small a venue you will need.

Once youve done the above the rest SHOULD be easy.................ISH and will all fall into place! HEHEHEH

Do as Hails says. How and where and budget. These are the priority. Then worry about the rest. Don't do what I did and order the dress before a date was set or a venue chosen lol Good luck and congratulations x xx

Get a wedding planner babe (mine is my bible lol) in there will be lists of what needs doing and when (most have year ones but can change to suit you) and you can get them from most book shops i got mine from clintons.

Search the net for things you like then you can get an idea of the colours you like and go from there. I fell in love with my dress which has red in it, so thats my colour theme and the rest just fell together lol (see my pics on my profile)

Dont panic if in doubt ask, the girls on here are fab and full of advice about just about anything lol.
This site is very addictive so be warned :-)

Yeah have a good look around at some venues, make appointments to go and see then, do lots of research and ask lots of questions when u go. I would also keep a folder of all the research you do, coz if your like me, you'll forget everything and where you've been ect..... Hope this helps :)

Also once you've decided on a venue, book it as quickly as possible, the minimum notice you can give is 3 weeks x

just take a deep breath, sit down with a cup of coffee and make a list of things you need to do, then an estimate of cost, and some ideas for each topic, browse the internet and search posts on here and suppliers, its amazing how soon things come together, i planned mine in less than a month and managed to book everything and pay all the deposits in about two or three months, i did have an idea of colour scheme, but mine is boring, some of the girls on here have fantastic, themes and colour schemes, but then i am plain old boring x

I'd say get a guest list together so you have an idea of numbers then arrange your ceremony and reception venue so all dates match. Those are the main ones x

Hiya, firstly i wish to say congs on your happy day and all i can say is sit down with your partner choose your church,Reception, then do a guest list and see who you would really want to invite you don't have to invite everyone start with both family sides then close friends who you feel are close, may be work mates too then check both lists go through again when you are both happy, sort out ypur invites and slowly work your way there. I am getting married on 11th June 2011 and i have organised everything single handed we are getting married in Church, hope all this helps.
