I am looking into making my own bouquets and arrangements and have seen a few things on the bay that I could order but I'm not keen on buying anything without seeing it first. I know there's a wholesaler in Glasgow that I already have a trade card for, but I'm looking for somewhere closer to Aberdeen. Ideally I would like to go in and be able to see everything and try different flowers together before I buy them iykwim?!

    Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm planning on buying some of mine from poundland. I know one lady has bought some then coloured the petals in with permanent marker and they look ace.

I did come across jvanvliet but they are strictly trade only (ask for business details and everything!) so I don't think I could get a card for them.

I never thought of poundland! I'll have to have a look and experiment. I'd hate for them to get wet and colour my dress!

I plan on making my own flower arrangements and I have found a few sites. Unfortunately they are saved on my laptop at home (as am currently using my phone) however if you google 'buying bulk artificial flowers'.
There are some really good sites online that have great prices. My bouquet has cost £12 for 18 roses, greenery and fillers. Working on the bridesmaids flowers, button holes and table centre pieces.

I got all my silk flowers from a wholesalers near where I live in warwickshire .... I was shocked at how cheap they were without the shop mark up on them ... I'd say try wholesalers before you spends loads in retail shops x

thats not too bad TBH, i will need 4 bunches, I already made the bouquets with ivory roses and Ivy, but they are missing something? so I am thinking to add them to the roses.
And to have lily of the valley.....my mums birth month flower.....will feel like a bit of her is with me.

thank you I will look at their website....

I have bookmarked the page, because I emailed an ebay seller who was selling smaller bunches for £1.75, I emailed him and asked if he would accept £15 for 10 bunches.....if he says yes then I will order from him.....but if he says no then I will probably still get them from him, cos even though they are slightly smaller, 2 together will just about make 1 of the bunches from 'Country Baskets', and works out to £3.50 per bunch. p/p is £1.75 & 25p for each additional item......making the total p/p £4.00

The ebay seller accepted the offer, and is also given me free p/p so I have 10 bunches for £15!!!!!!!! thats 2 bunches each i have to work with for each bouquet. I am using some around the edges of my brooch bouquet too. what a bargain!
