I think we're going to Thailand and Vietnam for ours - I want Thailand and h2b also wants to visit Vietnam so may as well while we're over that way lol! Probably going for a full 2 weeks as we're not going straight after wedding and it will be the equivalent of our usual annual holiday xx

You all have great destinations. H2b doesnt want to be faffing around with airports and flights etc... after the wedding. He wanted somewhere he could jump in a car and drive to, and chill out as soon as we got there. We opted for the lake district as its where my mum and dad got together, where they honeymooned, and where my mums ashes are scattered. We found a reserve in north cumbria with private self catering wooden lodges. Each lodge has use of its own private hot tup on the decking over looking the lake, row boat and bbq and they look gorgeous. The place has had really good reviews and there are only 8 or 9 lodges around the whole lake. There is also foot path trails around the reserve, lots of wildlife etc which is right up our street. Especially considering h2b's love of photography. We are an hour away from ambleside (where mums ashes were) so close enough to pay a visit but not so close i dwell on it. We plan to go there and i am going to lay my bouquet down for my mum. We are also planning a day in whitehaven, i am looking forward to eating chips watching the sunset over the harbour.
I wanted somewhere hot so last week we went on holiday to malta just the 2 of us... a pre honeymoon :D and last year we went to rome which was where he proposed. We will also be saving for a family moon over to guernsey in the summer.
