Im currently studying at Uni and graduate june 2013. I then start work in august so me and H2B are looking to get married in the July that year. The only problem is we really want to get married 250 miles away back home where our parents, family and most of our friends live. I was just wondering if anybody has any tips on when to get started with everything because obviously i dont want to leave anything too late....especially considering that i will be studying hard for my finals in the run up to the big day and so will be relying on friends and family for a lot of things. Also me and H2B have been engaged for 3 years now and i really want to get going....im not patient at the best of times and it just wont seem real until iv got something (anything!!!) booked!!!!

i've givern myself a deadline ov may 2013 and me and my partner are looking at possible venues now! do u hav any in mind were u would like fo visit etc? were both from manchester but hav been looking cheshire, northumberland and scotland as i want a long weekend wedding been to all venue possibilities in cheshire and hav now moved on to northumberland it would probably end up scotland as there is some stunning venues there x xgood luck xx

My problem isnt such long distance but the fact that were not planning on gettig married til 2013 ive got everything in place and know exactly what i want just need to put deposits down.

Ye there are a few venues we have in mind in the co. Durham area and my mum is going to a wedding fayre at one of the venues to take photos and get info etc. with being at university and living with my partner the only time ill be in durham for a long enough period to really spend time looking at venues will be a few days at easter and then a week in the summer :/
