    Currently working on finding a venue to get married and have reception but as my OH works away I have to wait til he's home so hopefully in March we will find and book somewhere for August 2016. I'm planning on making all my save the dates, invites etc but when is the best time to send them all out. Save the dates, wedding invites and also the evening invites?

    I would suggest sending them around August time, a year before your date

    I would send save the dates between 12-16 months before, with invites sent out about 4-5 months before, depending on when your venue needs the final numbers by and allowing yourself an extra few weeks to chase people who have not RSVP'd. I would send evening invites out about 3-4 months before the wedding too. X

    I'd send the STD's out as soon as the wedding date and venues are booked and set. Formal invites go out approximately 4 months before the big day to give people time to RSVP.
