Hi I was just wondering when should I send the invitations out? We r getting married abroad, so the invitations are only for the reception when we are back. The reception is 19th October 2013, so I was thinking send them out June, with RSVPS september??

I think June sounds about right. I think we are sending out ours in Feb and our wedding is August 1st. We haven't sent out save the dates so we are sending them a little earlier than perhaps we could do. x
im sending our save the dates with a year to go, then the invites about at the half way point? x

I recently to married in October but at the start. I sent mine out beginning if may with middle of July for RSVP by. My venue wanted numbers 6 weeks before so did not want to leave it too long.

Ok thanks everyone. As mine is just the reception, my venue only needs numbers 4 the buffet, and the money 4 this 2 weeks b4 the wedding which is pretty good. Im not having save the dates as its just the reception 2. Ive aleready started telling most people when and where it is anyway so it wont be so much of a suprise.lol

6 months before so people can plan ahead and you can make some arrangement if more/less people is attending
