    i want to send out passport style invites for our wedding in cyprus in aug 2012, with information on hotels and a travel agents details so if they book there they get discount etc the prices and flights wont be out tile the summer just wondering when i should send them cause i want to give people as much notice as possible

    just wondering what you lovely ladies think i was thinking about a year before?

    Why dont you send out save the date cards? Its an extra expense but at least it will let people know what your plans are so they can get time off and things booked

    Not neccessarily at the same hotel just being prob over cautious about giving notice to them as I know some are saving for it we sent the save the dates last year so they know when and where xx

    no I think your right giving them about a years notice :) gives them enough time to book somewhere and save up xx

    if youve already done save the dates, then yes about a year to ten months should be about right; you dont want people to loose the invites! <3 x

    we gave out mini invites a year before ours to give people notice so they could save to everyone we wanted at the ceremony then we sent save the dates out 9 months before to all our guests we are inviting to our evening do back home and official evening invites went out in dec xx
