Some advise please. When do I buy my bridal underwear? I already have my dress and am planning to have my 1st fitting Dec/Jan. Also any suggestions on what to buy? and where to buy? I am a size 12 but quite busty (ff/g cup)
Thanks A

Ive only just bought mine and my fitting is july, But im getting married in a few months. Best of having your underwear for your fitting. Im a size 16 but a 34 h so took me a while to find something to fit and that was comfy x

if youre having your first fitting in december you need it for then i think so that they can adjust it to what you'll be wearing underneath xx

Defiantly buy it before your first fitting. When you tried your dress on in the shop did you need a bra?
There have been a lot of discussions about comfort vs s3xy so its up to you on that. I have gone for just pretty lace French knickers as they fit bothand I'm a DD/E.

Thanks Ladies,
keep the advise coming, any suggestions on where to buy (FF/G cup) that is pretty and doesn't cost the earth???
I just have a strapless bra it was £24, So comfy! I was told with strapless bras you go down a back size and up a cup size! If you want the name of the shop i can post on your wall, They do a bridal collection x

Hiya, I'd go and get measured just before your first fitting and buy your bridal underwear then. Then take it to each fitting with you. as for where to go, I'm a gg/h cup and it can be a nightmare at times. Deben hams are getting much better on sizes, also bra vissimo - they have a few shops dotted about but if you can't make it to ine they're brilliant on returning goods :) Debs are having an offer at the moment. I went along and bought a couple of things the other day but I stillhaven't got my actual underwear yet. Mum's making my dress and first fitting will be august so getting it all then x
Mrs brown to be could I have the name of the shop please as I'm still looking x

As you have said it in your post ClareE its bra vissimo :) Ive never been in there before and the lady was so helpful and explaned everything to me, I found deben hams and even m&s a waste of time to be honist they didnt seem to fit perfect.x

I get married in 53 days and went last week to bravissiomo. Excellent place. Im a 34G and has a strapless bra that stays in place and looks lovely.

As long as you buy it in time for your 1st fitting you will be fine hun, you will need it for the first fitting so they know how much to alter if anything. Good timing as you may be able to get something in the sales if you have your first fitting in January.
I have no idea though where to go for the larger busted ladies as unfortunately I'm no so lucky :( xx

I bought a gorgeous cream coloured baby doll from la senza. I also have a lace thong and suspender belt to wear during the day (I cant wear anything on top under my wedding dress). The babydoll was £36 but when I went to get it, it had been reduced to £20! BONUS!
La Senza do some lovely stuff. Ann Summers is a wee bit too ranchy for wedding night stuff, well the one near me was just full of crotchless pant and leather stuff! No nice undies at all. Debenhams do a nice bridal range but its not that cheap. Try La Senza but not sure the size 12 babydoll would fit large breasts. My b00bs are a C cup and its a bit of a tight squeeze lol.

I'm not wearing a bra as I don't need one (not blessed in the bust department!) but I've still not got my knickers haha. Off to get them today :) xx

I've had a delightful weekend searching for underwear, although its so easy to get distracted off to, ermmm , 'other departments' LOL
Debenhams have a nice range, ive tried M&S, La Senza (very nice) and Ann Summers(hence the distractions!!) LOL xx

Most shops like you to bring everything you'll be wearing on the dsay to your fitting so underwear and shoes so they can get an true fitting for on the day so I say buy before your fitting
