If you already know the details and are able to book now then its always best to do it early.. especially if there is money involved as it gives people time to save! I know some of my friends who were booking hen nights have had trouble getting people to pay on time and to rsvp so forward planning is always a good idea!!

My Wedding isn't for another 14 months, but I will be organising mine very soon, to make sure, cos' i'm thinking of going to the Dogs for a meal and things like that, but going in a Limo for the night to make it a bit more glitzy. xx

I would start letting people know now so it gives them time to book it off work, or save the money up x

I would start to ask them now so that people have time to save up and arrange baby sitters if needed or time off from work xx

Definitely do it as soon as possible so people will have time to budget. I don't really know when my MOH booked mine as I wasn't told any details until a couple of weeks before it xx

Mine was booked a year in advance as it was going to cost no more than £150. There was the option of paying £15 per month into a nominated account or paying each instalment as and when. For those of us who chose instalments we're already on our way to spending money too.
A few people wouldn't commit that far in advance saying it was too early. H2b is organising his stag do now for end Sept and has had complaints that it's too late to save, although they have all known since organising my hen do when it was roughly going to be and how much it would roughly cost.
As we all know, you can't please everyone.

You might also get what we've both had, which is really annoying. People will rave about the plan and tell you to your face that they are definitely up for it, definitely coming, yay! and behind your back will tell the organiser all sorts of stories as to why they can't go. Or, say they are coming right up until deposits need to be paid, so you base your numbers and prices on them being included and drop out at the last minute.
