Basically I thought of a discussion topic and did a search to see if it had already been done. It has, but the last comment was middle of August.

Sooo, my question is, when is it OK to start a new discussion if one has been done before? Or how old does one thread have to be before we can start another one if that makes more sense? Lol. It's mainly so I dont get in trouble again :P

why not just comment on the old one instead of making a new thread asking if you can start another new one??

if there is a topic on it already, and you found it, then why would you want to start another completely new one anyway? apart from points

Thing is, if it's an old post with loads of replies I think it puts people off looking at them. I certainly wouldn't sit and read through 10 pages to get to the last post when they are all months old, so post it I say!

I agree Lelbel you get less answers if you just comment on a old post specially if its a few months old. xxx
