Hi everyone, H2B and his ushers are going to hire suits for the wedding. I was wondering if anyone knew when they did this? Do they have to go in advance to choose/get sized etc? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks x

Hi ya. Mine picked theres 3 months before the wedding. Just me and H2b went and ordered them, chose what suits to have etc. Then all the men have to go around 4 weeks before the wedding and have the measurements done If you are getting married during a busy period, its best to just get them booked now

Mine are getting suited and booted ... well fitted and kilted in January and we get married in May ... the fitter said that was ample time, hope this helps :) x

Mine (organised by H2b) didnt go till 3 weeks ago but there was no problem they are going back to try them and if everything ok will bring them home tomorrow x

Good post, was actually wondering about this the other day. I def want to go and pick....I mean help lol, the suits so think me and h2b will go together at first then once suits are picked the guys can go and get them fitted x
I was told to go in about 6 months before. Although I'll be taking H2B shopping in October to decide!
Saying that, I've pretty much already decided what they are wearing (H2B is happy for me to choose, he's not really a decision maker, he goes with the flow so to speak, lol)

My H2B went in to get catalogue to make his decisions in February. In June the boys all went in, got measured and ordered their suits. They paid the deposits aswell. They need to go in 10 days before the wedding in November for the final fitting. This gives the company plenty of time to replace any unfitting items. They then pay the rest of the fee and take them home. If your unsure but you know where your going to be getting them from, its best to go in and ask as different companies work differently.

My H2B went two weeks ago and set up the account, and all the groomsmen are meant to go no later than a month before the wedding to get fitted.

i'll tell ya what, my h2b said I could decide everything and he would wear whatever etc and has left the whole wedding to me. when it came to picking out the suit in the shop, he actually expressed an opinion and wasnt gonna go with what i said! lol we even had to go somewhere else because he wanted a different patterned waistcoat! lol

As the boys aren't wearing morning suits, we aren't wanting them all in matching suits. Good job really as our BM is in Oz. Just over 12 monthstill we get married but H2B is looking already (and has expensive taste!)

hey, well we chose the suits around 6 months ago and my h2b and groomsmen went and got measured last month and paid the deposit, they pay the rest when they collect 2 days b4 wedding xx
