Depends on how old she is. Maybe order a size up, then it will be easier to get it taken in than out.

Whats making you worry that it will be gone soon? Is it in the sale? If so I would order it in 6 years as glitterfairy said its much easier to take them in.

Yeah....I have this question too! My niece is my flower girl and she just turned 5. My wedding will be riiiight before her 6th bday in June. Not sure what size I should be getting or if I should just wait until april?

My daughters are my flower girls and I wasn't planning on getting their dresses until a few months before the wedding. But I saw some gorgeous dresses a few months ago that I couldn't miss and they were only £20 each! I've bought them bigger then they can be taken in if needs be. My eldest will of just turned 5 and my youngest almost 4. Xx

my flower girl will be 6, im gonna buy her age 7 I think as she is tall but skinny so will need it taken in.. I know the feeling though, I want to buy hers now incase its discontinued before the wedding!

Risky. Bridal stores generally advise ordering FG dresses approx 4 months before the wedding because of growth spurts and you just don't know if the kids will be big or small for their age. I ordered our FG dress in mid January for our May wedding. The dress fit her perfectly and it was ordered slightly too big for her, a month later and it would probably have been too small.

If you really want to order now then get age 6 and then it can be taken in if needed x

My flower girl won't even be 2 and lives 3 hours away, going to be really tricky to sort this one out easily :(

My Niece is my flower girl and she'll be 2 by the time of the wedding. We're not planning on getting her dress until January/February next year (get married in April).

My flower girl is only 4 months old at the moment.. soo weird imagining her being my flower girl considering she can't even walk yet haha. She will be 2 and a couple of months by the time we get married.. we are getting married in the June, so think we will look to get her dress around about March xx
Happily married

We are having the issue. But for our son who is page boy we want him in the family tartan to match his daddy but we can't order it until April/May time. The kilt maker won't even entertain us until march however we can go in and get a measured so we have a roughy idea of price.
If it was for a flower girl dress I would be leaving it as long as possible before ordering it. Connor is four just now but is so tall and skinny he causes me problems with clothes, I wouldn't want to take the risk of ordering something and then it being too small
After 7 years and 11 months he proposed to me 18.10.13
