why dont you send them out with christmas cards to save postage? I dont think there is anything really to say when but dont want it too early or loses the excitement but equally not too late as wont have time to organise stuff.
We are sending out save the dates out with christmas then actual inivtes around April time which is 4 months before the wedding as i want time to sort out rsvps and people to book the hotel.

Mines in May and I'm sending my after new year incase my invites don't get noticed cause of xmas x

If you send save the dates there is no need to rush the sending of invites. Think about it this way the longer the guests have the invites, the more time they have to forget to RSVP. The general rule of thumb is that they get sent between 4 - 8 weeks ag=head of time.

Yeah, i think as soon as xmas/new year is over, send them out then. That way everyone can look forward to xmas, then look forward to your wedding :) xx

Thats the way I'm thinking Kimi more money for the honeymoon if family don't wanna come x
CommentAuthorKarenB9
I would send them after x mas less likely they will get lost in the post or discarded by accident when people take down there cards

definitely after xmas, dont need to send them too far in advance...usually about 3 - 4 months before is what most advise...also for us we need to know specific dietary requirements for the meals so we need them back in good time for the venue etc. xx
