It may be a silly question but I was wondering when was a nice time to give your husband to be his gift?
Is it best the day before our wedding and before you go your separate ways for the night or during a meal a few days before?
It would be great to hear other people's views. X

I have made a box for my H2B which I plan to leave with my MIL2b the day before or the last time I see her (groom lives an hour away so I cant just pop around). I will ask her to give it him the night before just before bed otherwise the things like the socks etc he will be having to faff taking labels off and with the travelling as well to the venue for an hour it wouldnt be practical.

That does sound like a great idea Mrscross and I'm not sure if you can change it yourself; don't worry; common mistake - just ask a mod to change it for you :)

the gift for my husband 2 b is property of best man right now i add to it when hubby at work he will be staying with his best man the night before and best man will leave it on h2b's bed so he can open it on his own the night before its got a few bits and bobs in it and a letter explaining all the reasons behind the items as well as telling him why i want him to be my husband. I think it will be nice for him to think about that before he goes to sleep :)
One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

As I was staying the night at our venue the night before, I left the little presents and hubby to be card I got hubby on our bed so when he got in he could find it... He gave me mine when he did hid speech on the day!! X

I'm making a box of stuff for him to open the night before, one to open in the morning and asking his best an to read a letter from his football team at the end of his speech :-) xxx

i will be giving my box of presents to MIL to give to him on the morning with a card and a letter - he keeps joking that he wants me to do a speech at the wedding but ill be an emotional wreck so i think ill just write what i wanted to say in a letter and give it to him to read in the morning xx

I've put the gift to h2b inside his sporran as he is wearing a kilt. For morning wear it could go in the suit back so he discovers it in the morning xx

Wow, these are all great ideas thank you! My hubby to be is wearing a kilt too so I could put the gift in his sporran as I will be buying him cufflinks. It might be best to give it to my mother in law though for the morning just in case! X
