ok i know i still have a year to go, but i was just wondering when venues normally get intouch with you? i have paid deposit and set date, they have given me a qoute but i havent hurd anything else starting to worry maybe they have forgotten about us. i dont want to be phoning them etc incase it is 2 early for them 2 be intouch if know what i mean?

no hun i dont think so get in touch i have been to mine twice since i booked and paid deposit hun. do u have a wedding coordinator if so u can and should be able to go as much as you want. mine often phones me or emails me to see how wedding plans are going xxx wher u getting wed hun in cumbria ?xx

We asked for a meeting 10 months before, they asked for one 6 months before (which we managed to have 4 months before)

i called mine a couple of months ago as I was wondering when we would have our first meeting, we arranged to go in a couple of weeks later and had a chat, now they don't need to see us again till 3 months before x

Im in contact weekly with my Wedding Coordinator mainly because she is so lovely and helpful and when I worry about anything she sorts it straight away, but I will admit it is normally me contacting her x

I just contacted mine and the wedding co-ordinator said she was just starting to set up meeting for the April weddings.
I think they'll probably contact you with maybe 8 months to go. If you want to know sooner, then contact them xx

yeah drop them an email i contact my venue regularly but only because half way across the world and i am panicking lmao but even my reception venue back home i drop little emails too like oooo i remembered another thing hahahaha

dont worry about contacting them, they will understand that your not sure whats going on... its not like you get married every day.... i bugged the pants off my venue lol.

Normally though, they will contact you about 6 months before and request a meeting to discuss what you want. then about 6 weeks before to discuss the final arrangements and then again a week or so before. xx

As long as you have confirmation from your venue that your wedding is booked for such and such day etc then you will be ok and they won't forget about you hun. But on the odd occassion I will just email the wedding planner and ask her little questions just to keep me and her in the loop of whats going on (and therefore keep reminding her of our day) lol. Don't be afraid to contact them, thats what they are there for x
