Our venue wanted final numbers 6 weeks before, so i recommend that's when you ask for rsvp's for - and send out invites 2 - 3 months before your wedding x

im getting married end july...sent out day invites in jan for an rvsp of end march and sent out evening invites in april for a rsvp end may xx

i would say find out when your venue need final numbers for and then give a date a week or two before then so that if people are late sending them back you still have time before your venue needs them to chase people up! xx

It depends when you need final numbers for the venue. We sent ours out last month with a rsvp for this month to give us plenty of time in case they didn't respond but luckily for us they did. We wanted to give ourselves enough time in case people declined so we could invite other people. Now we know they are all coming we can send out the evening invites to the rest as unfortunately for them there are no upgrades available. They can come to the wedding service and evening bit but we just can't seat them for dinner.
