Been doing some of my decorations for the wedding and I covered the h2b's table with paper to spray some things with lacquer. well its soaked through the paper and made a mess of the table. I've just had to try and clean it all off with a washing up sponge. I don't think he will notice but I think I have taken off some of the varnish. Yikes! Now do I confess or see if he notices?

I would confess as I know I would end up blurting it out at some point anyway, lol. But that is also because h2b is quite observant and I wouldn't get away with it, he notices little marks on the wall and quizzes everyone til he finds out who did it, lol. Maybe it is safer to do the lacquering outside when it is a dry day? Good luck! :)

I have know my soulmate for 27 years and on the 6th August

He does notice everything. He has not long paid out a lot of money to have the kitchen floor done in these tiles that are not real but look real (if you know what I mean) I picked up a drink off the table and the granite mat had stuck to the bottom of the glass and it fell on the floor. I didn't notice at the time but it had left a little dink out of the floor. (luckily not worse as real tiles would have cracked) and he noticed that straight away. Yikes! Might just tell him I must have done it cleaning the table wiping it after dinners etc.

Can you not remove the varnish and re-varnish it...........Tell him you've done it, but tell him you'll fix it.
I put a scratch in our old tv and didn't tell Mark and it took him about 3 weeks to notice and when he did he was not impressed with me............lol x

He won't be mad or anything but I don't want him to think that I'm a klutz. He tells me stupid things the ex used to do as she was really bad just as mine was and the past few weeks it seams that I am turning into them lol. I've never done things like this before but all of a sudden I just seam to be damaging anything in site.

I'm terribly accident prone, went to a friends on saturday night, opened her fridge and a bowl of rice fell out all over the floor, then went to pick up my glass and broke it......granted i was drunk!!!! xx

I'm still in two minds of what to do. The house also stinks so he won't be happy when he gets in as he hates chemical smells. Just was too cold to go out and I wanted to see what they would look like lol.
