Hi Ladies, well i'm in a little bit of a pickle about whether to wear a watch on my wedding day i don't normally wear one during the day as i always have my phone with me (or attached to my hip so the fh says) lol... but when i ever go out on a night out or getting really dressed up during the day i always wear one along with a bracelet, i would be getting one that matched my Jewellery and dress that i am wearing on the day..

Just wanted to know what others were doing also if any has already been married and worn one could you post pictures so i could see what it looked like. xx

I wore one as I always do and have a watch mark. On my first wedding I got a tad drunk on my hen night a few days prior to it and lost my watch so my then mil lent me her bangle to cover the strap mark.

I think as well it depends on the type of watch. I wore a nice silver one with diamanté around the face, think a big sports watch may not quite fit in.

I have thought about wearing a watch but then I know I would be constantly clock watching and worrying about the timings of the day if one thing was late then it oushes everything back so I think I'm not going to wear one and try to relax and just go with the flow.

But if you do want to wear one, you could get it engraved with your wedding date as a nice memento. X

I never looked at my watch at all until the end of the night.

I didn't wear one but had somebody looking after phone etc in a little clutch bag. I felt it wouldn't look right. I didn't have a clue of the time through the day but my sisters and friends were great at making sure everything was kept on schedule.

I don't think I would wear a watch.. I don't normally wear one anyway, so it would feel a bit odd I think. Like the others have said, I wouldn't want to be clock watching. I'd like to just enjoy the day and forget about what time it is :)

I wear a watch most days (unless I leave it by the washing up!) but I don't think ill be wearing one on our wedding day.
I would maybe swop the watch for a nice bracelet.

although if its a pretty watch like GF says then there's no reason it wouldn't look lovely thinking about it.

If it's a nice one, why not? I don't usually wear one, even at work I have it in my pocket, but if you want to then go for it

If you normally wear one then you will feel odd without it and keep looking, I think if you have it on if you normally do you won't. I think that is why I never kept looking as I normally wear one unless at work.

I never wear watches so personally won't be wearing one however I know people who have worn a parents or grandparents watch as their something borrowed and thought that was a nice touch :)

I most likely won't wear now as I don't wear one everyday only when I remember haha plus mine wouldn't really go with my dress ect although it is blingy. If your matches and you feel comfortable with it on go for it :) I'd proberlY wear it on different wrist to ur ring finger so it doesn't get in way of the photo of the ring bit x
