ours is going to be I Turn to You by Christina Aguilara cause it was the first song we heard when we met. There was a singer on in our local and when our friends first introduced us it was playing. *soppy* lol x

We had the Overtones singing In The Still of the Night - and we picked that because we didn't really have 'our' song, or really anything special (our first proper date we danced to Christmas songs, not really appropriate for August lol). We both liked the Overtones so we listened to the album and picked a track that we both liked as well.

We are going to try and have Paul McCartney singing Something by George Harrison. We saw Paul in concert together and it was one of the best days of my life (as a MASSIVE Beatles fan) and he sang Something. He started out on the ukulele and then the whole band joined in. It was a lovely arrangement. Only problem is we can only find live versions so far and they have lots of clapping in the background and its not the best quality :-( so we might have to go for something else.

After months of indecision, I made a shortlist of 5 possibles and put them on a post it for H2B to decide, and just yesterday it was decided that we're having the band perform Everything by Michael Buble as it's lovely lyrics, a nice bouncy tune which should be fun to dance to and not too mushy!
On the shortlist were:

We were originally having a Straight No Chaser mash up of 'I'm Yours/Somewhere Over the Rainbow' but my mum had a bit of a sulk about it as it wasn't a typical slow, mushy number so we've now decided on Ellie Goulding 'How Long Will I Love You' which I'm sure she'll hate too but tough.

This is something we can't decide on either :( We have a couple of choices but just not sure! Again like some of you we dont have 'our song'; well we do but thats Nelly DIlemna from when we were 16 and it came out haha not really appropriate!
These are our choices so far;
Christina Perri - A thousand years The Honeyz - Finally Found Cascada - candlelight version of everytime we touch (this was also a song we listened to at 16yrs old and both liked)
