Possibly my jewellery as I got a necklace and matching earrings for just under £30. The cost of my dress included all alterations so that was a bargain as well. And my tiara was bought from someone on ebay who bought it then changed their mind before wearing it - and I got it for around £15 (new price was £95).

    I have been very lucky...
Our reception venue is free as my dad and h2b are on the comittee there.
Our dj is free as he is my ex uncle (divorced step-auntie..still family friend)
Our singer is free as she is my sisters friend
Our caterers just want the food cost...no extra for waitressing/preparing etc as they work with my dad.
4 adult BM dresses and 1 FG dress cost £104 to make from my sister in laws mum (just material costs)
I got my dress in a sample sale reduced for £1300 to £375 including Veil
Got my shoes in a sale after xmas Carvelas... Reduced to £22 for £160
Also, our photographer is a family friend so only costing £300
And the car is a second cousin of h2b so that is only £50 too.
Invites we made ourselves so really didnt cost much at all.

Reading all this back...I really have saved a huge amount of money...no wonder we are super under budget.

i won my wedding photography with albums etc included! Havent booked anything as of yet but im a keep bargin hunter (spent time in China!) so fingers crossed it wont be the last. I have found entering comptitions as smaller wedding fayers increases your chance of winning. I had also won a free wedding album from another photographer, so i gave that one back!

I thought it was my dress at first. Should have been £680 reduced to £450. Veil was £89 reduced to £50. But my tiara was from the bay, RRP £90 - I got it for £15 with not a mark on it and in the original Amanda Wyatt box :)
