Talking about bridezillas ....................I was wondering what the worst things are that guests could do at your wedding that would ruin your day or make you upset, angry, irritated, annoyed etc.

For me they would have been :

    Wearing white/ivory
    Announcing they're pregnant
    Announcing they're engaged
    Proposing
    Getting insanely drunk and misbehaving
B1tch1ng about my dress/choice of food etc.............. (any elements of our wedding)

What would be on your list?

I think if someone spilt red wine on my dress I'd be pretty miffed too, if someone got insanely drunk and started scrapping / being sick all over. If any criminal damage happened to the venue.

If anyone was caught having nookie anywhere .... God this lis is extensive lol

Being Misery's and not dancing , going home early. Aswell as all of ID said apart from the wearing white think, the idea of someone planning to wear white on purpose to upset me, but I don't think anyone would doo that, but on the day I don't think it would bother me as I would be enjoying my day to much to bother me.

Proposing and children not behaving .... At a friends wedding another friends children began acting up as they are a little out of control so when they were picked up by grandparents everyone was relieved however a few days after the wedding the staff at the hotel where my friend got married mentioned about damage caused by two children and how a number of staff had to tell my other friends to keep the kids under control , it also turned out they broke a "wishing tree" that my married friend had for the day .

mrsFarrelly2b i could be in the same boat. My brother announced that him and new wife are pregnant about 2 weeks ago -4 days after she took a test so like 1week into the pregnancy! It hit a nerve and that was the first thing I thought about when I saw this post so know how you feel.

Being drunk and disorderly or having a blazing row would be the main ones for me. I wouldn't mind a baby being introduced as long as I got first cuddle. I wouldn't mind too much if people were discussing wedding plans either, although I was wary at my brother's wedding to try not to get on to the subject too much.

Do people actually propose at other people's weddings???! That for me would be the worst that someone could do, or annouce an engagement. I think that would be really spiteful for someone to do.

It's all the obvious really, but oh god a wedding proposal or someone announcing they are pregnant. the former wouldn't bother me TOO much as long as it happened once the reception had kicked off... and if it wasn't premeditated. have your own party, don't steal mine

naturally, someone trashing the place or fights wouldnt go down well either.

If i hear someone slagging it off as well... actually, i think that would be the worst. i dont care if my decor isnt to everyones tastes. it suits me and him, so keep your opinions to yourselves. Table wine is a sensitive subject for me at the moment as wlel, so if anyone moans about the lack of it, il draw them up a bill and ask them if they would like to foot it. harumph!

Not quite a wedding but this happened at an engagement party of someone I know in which the fiancé of the woman announced during his thank you speech for everyone being there that he didn't want to get married but only was going through with it just to shut the woman up ! A fight kicked off and apparently it was like a scene from fight club and that was just the women lol
So imagine that actually happening at the wedding !

I think I'd be ok with a proposal if it was someone close to one of us and was planned with us. It could actually be really beautiful. There's no need to announce an engagement or pregnancy though.

    Spilling something on my dress...
Our venue is on a canal and I'm petrified someone falls in, or I fall in!

I was proposed to at someone else's wedding, sort of.
My oldest friend got married in Monaco, so we were there for the august bank holiday weekend. He took me to a casino in Monte Carlo the day after her wedding and proposed in the restaraunt.

My friend was over the moon that he'd chosen her wedding weekend.

He had planned to take me away in September, and my friend announced and planned her wedding in just 5 weeks, so he had no choice as it meant we couldn't go anywhere else after the cost if that.

I think it would have been wrong at her actual wedding though, so I'm glad he waited til the next day

Ha ha, at my wedding a cousin of hubby's wore a tight fitting ivory dress, people spilt red wine on the floor for my dress to mop up for them, not many people danced (but the DJ played rubbish music, not what we put on the list we gave him several weeks in advance), family fall outs we learned of afterwards, hardly anyone ate the cake, SIL was going on about her wedding in 11 months time, the flower girl made a right racket throughout the whole ceremony but SIL wouldn't take her outside (she's not a baby either at 3 yrs old), guests saying they'll turn up to the evening and then not showing up...
But it was still a great day!

If anyone announced anything on my day I would be seriously pi$$ed off.

Wine on dress would upset me but I have a second evening dress so I'll be okay.

But my nightmare would be my sister pulling one of her usual antics. She does not like it when I am in the spot light and not her. If she cannot outshine by doing something to make everyone congratulate her she will do it by doing something that makes everyone feel sorry for her or she will get roaring drunk and make a scene.

Thankfully I have a good selection of close friends are all too familiar with this and are happy to step in should something happen and make sure I am none the wiser if they can.

Apparently when my twin brother got married the flower girl, who was the bride's niece, got into her little white dress, then ran out into the garden and got covered in mud. Fortunately she owned another white dress, and no one besides her parents and brother knew anything about it.

Just generally getting drunk and making a scene. My mum did exactly that at my sisters and I had to 'babysit' her for the night to make sure she didnt do it again! They have been told in no uncertain terms that if any of them get drunk and embarrass me/make a scene, they will be expected to leave as I cant be dealing with that on my day.

I went to a family friends wedding, the sister of the groom had got married 2 months earlier (she'd decided at the last minute with her now hubby to rush through their wedding first and planned it in 5 months) - she was going around showing the guests all her wedding photos! She was also a bridesmaid for her new SIL!
