We have had to choose one set meal for all of our guests so everybody is having the same, but we dont know whether or not to still put a menu on each table just so that everybody knows what they are getting, so i was just wondering what everyone else is doing that are having a set menu, also if you are providing a menu are you stating what the kids are having too or just adults?

Initially i sent out our menu choice with the invitations (pre arranged by Kev and myself) and said if they require veggie meal or have any allergies etc, let me know ....so i will also have a table menu (2 per table) as wel just to remind them. For tables which have kids on them ,i have included the kids choice as they are part of the day aswell xx

Thanks for your replys I think I shall make one menu per table and put both kids and adults menu inside, not all tables have kids on but most have so I'll just do them all the same I'm sure it won't matter that a table of adults has a kids menu inside theirs too will it?
I'm not reminding people what they get as i put it in the invites and i really have no more room on my table to put a menu haha
everyone is having the same main and dessert its just the starter that has some differences as the option was soup or prawn cocktail and i know prawns aren't everyones favourite

Everyone gets the same main, I'm not putting out menus because people will start their whinging again. By people I mean 2 out of 65 adults -_- by whinging I mean they wanted the other 63 people to have fish :/

What's the point of a menu? It's not like they have a choice what they're eating!

I have a set menu and i arent 't putting anything on the table. The menu is up on my wedding website and so if they hae any dietry requiremernts they can let me know and i will advise the venue. I don't want to clutter my table. xx

I'm not sure what we are doing yet to be honest! If we have a set menu then I will put one menu on each table listing everything ie adults, kids and veggie so ppl know what they are eating OR If we give them a choice for starters and mains (cake is dessert) then they will know what they are getting because of the invites but I will add what each person choose onto the back of their name tags to remind them what they choose as the rsvps are hopefully coming back 2 months before the day, so ppl will proberly have forgotten by then!

I'm not because everyone has chosen their own meals and the kids are having what the adults are eating
CommentAuthorKellyB81
We didn't but that was because everyone had chosen in their rsvp - if not I would have put it on the table

OMG I didn't think of that! I might just make a menu per table, unless the caterer is providing one.

We are having a set menu and putting them on the tables with a veg option. x
