First, it feels great to be back and now to the point I am in a bit of a problem.
One of our usher was my SIL (Chief BM) boyfriend who dumped her last week due to "long-distance" reasons, and money. He's a good friend of H2B. I have spoken to SIL who is very dear to me, and right now she's in a lot of pain, and don't feel very comfortable in idea having him standing as an usher, she won't mind if he's a guest (preferably for evening only) and I agree with her, I would not feel comfortable him having such a role after what happened between them. So I've asked H2B's cousin to stand as an usher (he speaks French which is advantage towards my family) and Kerstie (SIL) and him are best friends, so we keep it in family and everybody is happy, and he gladly agreed. So did I think until a few minutes ago, H2B telling me, he still would like our previous usher to remain as such. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

hey hun sorry i voted for ur h2b friend and ill explain why.
i understand why u feel like u do being close to ur SIL and loyalty, however my way of thinking is, what happened between them is between them, it shouldn't affect how anyone else treats them, it wouldn't be fair if the shoe was on the other foot and ur SIL was asked to not be a bridesmaid and only then attend the evening. I think its both your day and your h2b has choosen to have his friend as usher and asking him to choose would be wrong. they should both for the sake of you day put a smile on and get over it and place them sitting away from each other.
Just my opinion. But i do hope ur friend (SIL) is ok hun. xx
