go to costco has someone got a card? you can get meats for platters so cheap and big carrot cakes etc... xx
Our evening buffet consists of Bacon and Sausage baps, cheese with biscuits and crackers and cream cakes, pastries, muffins tarts and slices. Steve and I thought this would be the best kind of comfort food to keep everyone happy. xx

If you go to the frozen supermarket endorsed by Kerry Katona and Jason Donovan (we all the one) you can get chinese selection 50 pieces for a fiver etc so a few big packs of them would be a good idea, you can serve them cold as they taste ok either way - they do a dessert one and an indian selection - they also do huge gateaux for about £3/4 each - we just did a buffet for my flower girls christening - cheese, and pickled onions for some reason go down well too :D

You want cheap, easy to prep popular food. Sausage rolls, scotch eggs, basic sandwiches etc or go for a simple meal like bacon rolls, curry and ricr, fish and chips etc.

Actually mad idea - £250 with 60 guests?? Do you have a lush fish and chip shop near?? Why not book ur local chippy to bring fish and chips round in paper cones and sausage and chips for the kids?? Its so original and a talking point xxx
