I'm having ivory foam roses in a ball shape with dominates in the middle of them and grasses woven around. I'm also having a couple of gold butterflies on it as well.

I went through a list of flower designs that I liked from pictures on the internet. I chose the foam roses as they were cheaper than the real ones, cost over half the price of real ones and also I can order them now and they will still look as good in years to come. Once I had made up my mind what I wanted I spoke to the lady who is doing them who I found through ebay and showed her what I wanted and she is doing me a bespoke order in my colour scheme. What you have depends very much on your dress I think. I have loads of detail on the front of it which I don't want covered up by a shower of flowers.

Ive got silk ones, all tucked away in a box on top of our wardrobe now! A simple calla lily shower (pics on my profile), didnt want anything too bushy as wanted to show the dress off and this one seemed really modern. Love it (and it looks real!) Paid £40ish and was quoted £80+ for real flowers done in the same style!

Wow I love your flowers Janey they are so unique. Bargain price too. I would have never considered fake before as I had it in my head they didn't look good but they have really improved over the past few years and look so good.

i would love fresh ones but heard some awful stories that they can stain and things, plus the petals can come off and stuff.. but im just paranoid and always think the worst, fake ones stay the same all day and are usually cheaper.. if we can afford though we might have real ones.. Aaaagghhh just dunno where to start lol x

all fake foam ones apart from my bouquet and the buttonholes. Will save a fortune. Having fake for the centrepieces aswell so that afterwards i will have

    2 x top table arrangements
    3 x adult BM bouquets
    2 x flowergirl pomanders
    6 x table centrepiece arrangements
6 x (whatever kind of bowl or vase centrepieces are going in)
28 tea light holders (4 tea lights on each table, around the centrepieces)
24 little silver buckets decorated with purple ribbon and a lilac foam flower. (putting chuppa chups lollies inside them!)
bag of purple and clear scatter crystals.

all to flog on bay of e afterwards! all themed in purple and cream so will hopefully sell at a decent price for some other bride getting the whole package in one go!
