Ok so I have seen a few threads on this but none so far have given me any real answers.
i saw a post the other day that said someone had like 11 pages! but cant remember it or find it anywhere.
I know to include: 1. our names & date 2. processional song 3. arrival time 4. start time 5. signing of the register & music for this 6. recessional song
i would also like to include: 1. the wedding party 2. the photo time 3. the location & time of reception 4. the meal time 5. cutting of cake & first dance timings 6. arrival of evening guests/ start of evening reception 7. speeches & toasts 8. reading wording 9. last orders
but the question is.... how would i word it? what page would each go on? i plan, i have schedules, not oos's.... dont get to see those tbh...

I've found some that include a lot of information, but not 11 pages. I'll pop the links on your wall x

Eleven pages seems quite a large number, but then perhaps if the words of the songs/hymns are all printed out and if everything that is in the ceremony in printed out in full maybe that's why? We're making our own and have factored in just one sheeot of A4 for each, which will make four sides of writing when folded and inside card cover. Another idea might be to have a day plan made out on A3 or something? H2b's sister did that, had it up on a board telling everybody when everything would happen and she decorated it etc.

yeh im not saying i want 11 pages, just that i saw a thread on here not long ago where someone had 11 pages, was hoping to borrow some ideas lol
Are you having a church service? Suppose it depends whether you want it just to let people know what's happening, or whether you want it to sort of be a special thing in itself that people might hang on to as a keepsake?

Ours has 12 A5 sides printed including front and back covers but we're having a church wedding so have to print all the hymns, prayers, readings and responses and included a personal message too from me and H2B.
I think it was Hails or Lala who had a thread with details of their OOS. xx

the more keepsakes I have the less my family will take that I want t keep lol. Most of my family have a "Kate file" its a file for me, a seperate one for each member of the family, but the idea is, that when you pass that file goes to the person its about so for instance.... my file that my nan has will contain grandmothers day cards, the first picture i drew for her, photos of us together on special occasions, my file will also contain pictures from their last anniversary as i planned it, decorated it etc. Basically when you get married they also add things like favours, & table decorations (if they can get hold of them lol)
we are not having many tables (3 infact) they will be long tables in a "U" shape and will have 2 table decorations on each table. I want to make sure they have plenty of keepsakes so they dont steal my table decorations for my file, as then i will only have 4 decorations left (im having half red, half black) so i want 2, leaving me four to hand out as thankyous to certain people. hence i cant have them stealing them for my file lol
So having more stationery means less chance of them taking other things i want to keep for myself lol.
Don't get me wrong, its a lovely tradition, and i have files for my boys, but at the same time it can be rather annoying lol.
So Keepsake it is. I also want to use my order of service to remember those that can not be with us. I will of course have a photo frame with a poem in it on a seperate table with the guest book to remember those same people but just want it in a booklet too.

Lol, quite possibly. I'm sure I saw one on here too though that was rather detailed but not for a Church wedding. I thought it was Hails but now not sure. Hmmmmmmm xx

Morning ladies I do indeed have a rather detailed order of the day booklet as I want it more as a keepsake then anything else! Think it's about 12 pages?? In mine I have things like timings of the day, a copy of the full menu, a whose who of the bridal party with pics, some details about the venue and surrounding areas, a remembrance page, The words to a few special touches we are doing, a thank you poem and maybe even a little tissue pocket! Not sure if I have a seperate thread for it but I think I put the first draft of it (added more since) in my planning thread if you wish to see/read!

I think if it's going to be a keepsake then a longer one would be nicer :)
Indreamland I didn't realise we had to print out all our hymns etc! Glad I read your post - we might have to rethink how much paper we've ordered...! ;) (Just shows you, Katya, I am NOT the person to advise you in this matter, oops!)
