What is everyone doing with their wedding dress after the big day? I don't really have anywhere to store my dress and even if I did it would only sit in a loft collecting dust. I'm thinking about selling in my dress afterwards. Good idea? Bad idea?

Mine will go to charity after a couple of years. I love it too much to let it sit in a box and rot. This way it will make another person happy.

Thanks guys. I have the same feelings - I love my dress but I know I'll never wear it again and I would rather someone else get use out of it then let it sit and rot. I'll always have my photos and memories. I want to sell it before I get too attached though!

Mine was given to me, brand new from someone with more money than sense. She gets married in 2 months and has bought 4 dresses! lmao.
She made me cry, it was such a lovely gesture because its gorgeous SO I will be on patrol on here after the wedding. And if I see a skint bride who would appreciate it, I'm going to give it to her and spread the love.

Mine is so huge i am having a layer made into my youngest daughters christening dress and it won't even make a difference to the dress so i shall be keeping it in case one of my 4 daughters wants it ,i'd have loved to at least try my mums on
