Ive just paid for my dress and love it, but now ive handed over that chunk of money ive started thinking about what to do with it after the big day.
I know im jumping ahead of myself abit but what are you guys doing with your dress? Hanging onto it or selling it

I kept mine purely because my girls love it and have 'shotgunned' it for their wedding,
There are many options, trash the dress or have it put into a frame, or made into dresses for stillborns etc.

Pretty sure I'll keep mine despite the money it cost. I love it and not sure I'll have the heart to part with it. Second hand dresses go down in value between 30-50% depending on the designer/condition ect so I don't feel it will be worth it anyway.

I'll definitely be keeping mine.

My dress will be getting donated towards making gowns for baby's born sleeping as many charity's use the material from them to make cherished gowns that are small enough to fit them xx
I've kept mine, along with my cathedral length veil! Got it cleaned and boxed up in acid free tissue paper so as not to damage the dress.

I will put mine aside for my daughters children for their christenings, then the left over material will be donated to still born charities.

I'm gonna get mines boxed. I'm in two minds if I ever have another baby. Thinking about getting a christening gown made but don't like the idea of it cut up plus my son wouldn't have worn it. My other idea is getting a newborn photo of the baby laying on it. That's if I'm ever blessed again

I think I would keep mine, either use it to make a christening dress for my daughter (I will probably just have boys now lol) or keep it if I ever had a little girl who might want to wear it.

I was thinking of keeping mine for my daughter but then thought she might not want it by the time she gets married (she's 3) as I imagine by then it will be dated. But seeing the responses I could always keep it for her and she could use the material from it if she didn't want the dress itself.
