Isn't there anyway your venue will allow your group to a certain area ?
Is there anywhere on the way to venue you could stop for extra pics ?

doesnt your venue have a bar that you can use before the evening reception? or stop off somewhere for extra pics. its either that or you just put the time of ceremony n invites and then say and join us later in the evening for reception at 6? then people can go home and come back later x

They don't have anywhere it's a marquee room I've hired :/ I can't think of anything to take up the time even thought it probs would only be an hour with driving time if the weather was nice we could wait outside and do extra photos but if it was raining then that wouldn't be an option x

We almost had the same situation but changed the day instead to avoid it, so we could get the times we want. We did consider getting everyone to meet at the pub across the road from our venue for a couple of hours though, so that there wouldn't be any extra travelling. Is there not a bar / pub within walking distance to your venue that you could meet at?

Think timing is very important as this proves and even though we not booked anywhere yet we have made sure everything is covered !
Problem is weather is the main issue for something like extra pics . Is there no where like a park or beach or unique location near by ?

There's litterally no where unless we travel extra which by that time we'd be travelling back anyway, we picked the latest slot possible all slots were available too but half 3 is the last one it will all just depend on weather I think :/ pain x

There's absolutely nowhere local we'd have to drive upto somewhere then drive back n by that time the hour would of passed it would also mean either paying for taxis or hiring the limo for long which is money that doesn't need to be spent :/ the only other option would be to put a gazebo in my mums garden and have a few snacks out but that's if she'd agree to it :/ x

Don't panic; look at it as extra time so nothing is rushed; you can take your time doing photos and everyone can get ready and not feel rushed to get to the evening reception :)

if need be ask your venue if you can go to the place early and if they have room for an activity, we've been looking at archery obviously that's expensive but you can do games or something similar that you could make yourself just because you can go into the marquee until 6 doesn't mean you have to go home. we were thinking of getting the sumo suits but we don't think people will want to get their outfits messed up but there's lots of options out there to fill in time :D I hope u find something xx

What about finding a few local beauty spots, leaving your guests at a pub for a bit and you two get a bit of alone time getting some gorgeous shots? :) xx
