Awww the birdie song is awesome lol! Who's in the charts at the moment, personally I would steer clear of rap, but pop r&b tends to be a safe bet. Also if you have find some rock music that isn't depressing, that's good too. Robbie Williams is always a safe bet too :)

pop is defo a good bet - abba, britney, westlife, girls aloud, spice girls etc something they can dance too

60s/70s/80s/90s always goes down well i.e. build me up buttercup, making your mind up, don't stop believing etc etc

I shouldn't really offer an opinion as me and h2b are having our first dance to a Bob Dylan song, not the greatest singer in the world but has sentimental value. I think we are going for a mix of modern and selection of 80's as most of my friends and cousins grew up listening and bopping to that. If I had my way, it would be hip hop all the way, lol, but not going to happen. x

With you on the no silly songs bit! I don't want any cheese! lol. Think we are having a bit of everything, classic rock, motown, blues, bit of chart music. I don't really like chart or popular music but I realise that alot of people do so we are just having a bit of everything so that everyone can have a boogie! lol x x x

Motown is ace! Think that always gets people up and dancing, or if not at least singing along and having a good time! x
