    Hi ladies, we are decided on having a church wedding. Is there anything i should ask? I know you ask alot for the venue and i've looked at the venue questions which are amazing ladies - thank you (all printed lol) but is there anything to ask re church service?
    for example i dont know do you decorate church? or is it just as is? Thanks for any help. ali x

    You can choose to decorate a church or leave it as is. I do know that sometimes churches have preferred florists, so you could ask about that. I would ask about readings, music, the sermon. I can't think of anything else. I'm sure someone here will have a proper list.

    I notice you are getting married in just over 12 months. If this falls during lent some churches don't like you to decorate the church. I would check with them direct x

    Ask if they allow the photographer to take photos. We're quite limited with what our vicar will allow.

    You need to check whether there are and restrictions if one or both of you are not that denomination, whether there is a marriage preparation course you must both attend. Then the standard things like whether they have preferred florists, organists, musicians, church fees and what this includes, do they have bells that can be rung, readings, sermon, hymns, do they allow photographers and videographers? Also, if it's a Catholic church do you have a wedding service or a full wedding mass?
