Hey :) My night do starts at 7pm and the buffet is being served at 9pm. Me and H2B had decided to do the first dance at 8pm but when we met with our photographer last night he commented that 8pm is early for the first dance. So its got me doubting myself and wondering if it is too early? Wondering what you guys are doing??xx

You will go straight from your first dance into dancing but if your evening do starts at 7pm then the DJ wont start properly until you have done your dance so be waiting for you 2 so i reckon 8-8.30 sounds about right xxx

I reckon 8pm is good timing, although the dj usually stops for the buffet being served x

The buffet is bacon barms and they are being handed out on trays rather than a formal buffet so I think the DJ will keep going hopefully xx

We just had this discussion too, think 8pm will be when we choose but we have a band so may even do it earlier.

our carvery in bun will start at nine, evening guests arrive from 7.30 so we're doing our first dance at around 8.30. the dj said its usually best to it after the evening food but i dont want the party putting on pause while the buns are being dished out, and if we we're to do it later then some of the older members of the family will have gone n they would miss it. i think it's a reasonable time xx
