1pm for us. Wanted 2pm as it was the time we needed to comfortably fit every thing in after, photo's, wedding breakfast, speeches etc. However 2pm was booked, had the choice of 1pm or 3pm so went for 1pm to make the day longer rather than shorter. and by 3pm i would be going insane i can't wait that long lol x

I'm getting married at 2 as well. There's a couple of hour drive for most people to get there, so it'll give everyone enough time. But any later and I think I'd be going nuts.

We're getting married at 3pm, because family is coming from near and far this way everyone can make it on time and will give me time to get ready, eat and make sure everything is in place.

2pm that way I don't have to rush about in the morning and also it gives us enough time in the afternoon to have pictures taken after the ceremony and then to have dinner about 5pm so people don't starve xx

My wedding sounds really early now! We are getting married at 12:30. The vicar advised us that this was the best time, as by the time the service was over and after photos had been done and everyone had gone to the venue it would be a perfect time for the wedding breakfast! xx

3pm - time the registrar was available. Also now we are at a venue further away from home we will need time to get there! This also leaves time for everyone to travel in the morning and to get ready! I have a suspicion that the house will be mad that morning!

3.30pm Thats because I have a lot of family traveling to us. Fits in well with check in time too at the hotel. Also avoiding the wedding breakfast too. And as Debz said you can invite everyone xx

3:30pm for me... Just because I wanted time in the morning to get ready in relaxation plus Dodge's son is Type 1 diabetic and at the time of booking he needed to be sat down and eating by 5... doesn't make any difference now though as he is on a different regime x

Aimnig to get married at 6pm, because we are going to get married in Scotland this gives some of our guests a choice to either stay the night before and the night of our wedding or come up on the day of the wedding and only have to stay one night =]

we're getting married at 11:30 in the morning! i wanted to make the most of the day and get loads of pics taken around the resort and h2b has got me some kind of suprise after the service that will take an hour (god only knows!) there is only 17 of us and we'll all be staying in the same place so no need to worry about guests and food is available all day from anywhere so people can get what they want before the reception which will be at about 5:30. gonna be a long day! (especially as iv told h2b that he has to walk me up and down the beach until sunrise!) xx

we are getting married at 2pm so that we have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the morning, as am having about 14 people in the flat in the morning will just be fun spending some time with my loved ones before the excitment of the day takes over, plus when looking at the running of the day that time doesnt give us to long between the breakfast finishing and the evening guests arriving xx

    12.30.

What we did was start with the time we wanted the evening party to start and work backwards. I've been to a few weddings where things were rushed as the ceremony was in the middle of the afternoon- the evening guests were arriving in the middle of dessert. So our timings are...

    12.30 Church
    1.15 Photos at church
    2.00 Drinks reception at hotel
3.00 We arrive at drinks reception
3.15- People start to move into wedding breakfast
    3.30 Speeches
4.00 Wedding breakfast (hopefully speeches won't be half an hour though!)
6.00 Finish wedding breakfast- bar open and guests free to freshen up and book into hotels
7.00 Evening guests start to arrive.

we are getting married at 4 as we have 150 guests so cannot afford to pay for more than one meal, it also gives me plenty of time in the day to sort things out and get pampered, and plenty of time for mark to sober up and get ready in plenty of time x

I wanted to get married as late in the day as possible so we could avoid having to have a sit down meal but unfortunately the only time available was 1.30 and it had to be that date so thats what time we have lol

I am kind of glad its that time now though even though it means the day will cost more cos I have no patience and I will be able to get ready in peace and quiet with hopefully no stress. lol

We were going to get married at 11.30 as i wanted to marry h2b as soon as possible but i had to change it to 2pm to fit in hair and make up appointments and it takes an hour to drive to the venue so the only other time left was 2pm

I'm getting married at 2pm because otherwise it would be far too long a day for me! I'm not the biggest people person in the world and having to smile for any great length of time will hurt my face. Being smiley and nice to people all day is not an option, therefore we are alos leaving early! I'm thinking 9 at the bloody latest!!!
