If we have tables at our UK reception we'll be naming them after Icelandic waterfalls we'll visit while we're out there, with the top table named after the one we get married at :) Xx

thanks J, ive always been one to fly by the seat of my pants and ive only just ordered my daughters shoes for the day the grroms party still need to get measured up but have been reassured we have plenty time as my sil brother works for a suit place and my h2b is working abroad he is not back until friday so havnt been able to go before but have planned the day over 2 years so have everything done just need suits his shoes and table seating plan but have done a mini one so know where everyone sitting and i think thats it xxxx

Jillybean - how did we end up about to marry the enemy! lol (well your the enemy in my case ;-) ) we have a laugh about it though, we are equally as into the football though, we have little bets amongst ourselves when those two teams meet! lol
Sparkle - i think thats a lovely idea to let your h2b choose the theme, thats one what of getting them to help out with the wedding plans - very nice!

We can't decide on a theme as yet. Current ideas are gem stones, or wedding anniversary names (paper, tin, pearl, diamond etc).

Oh poo, I've been slightly fooled by the advert (came up on my fb as "Vintage wedding fair") - it's not specifically weddings but generally all-over vintage :) 11th Dec Winchester Guildhall - but it's a national thing that occurs in 20 cities across the country. If you type in the vintage fair and the american website ending you'll find it :) Xx

There is a vintage wedding fair in Milton Keynes on 25th of February - and thats a proper vintage one with all the works. And in January there's a fair for the "alternative bride" in London - vintage is for sure a big part of it.

@ Antonia. We're getting married in Warwickshire. What about you? I have read it but can't remember.
Erm planning... The venue and registrar is booked, oh and the photographer. I'll get back on it after Christmas. I didn't want to do too much too soon, but at the same time, I want to be able to budget properly, and the only way to do that is firm up a booking isn't it!!
I feel for you, being miles away and not being able to get to the wedding fayres! xxx

my brother and sister in law had cleaning products because he proposed by writing 'will you marry me?' in cif cream cleaner on the cooker thought it was a lovely touch but i have noooo clue whatso ever although im thinking band names as me and h2b are really into our live music x

Ps - I personally would love to sit on the Grinch table because I love the styling of the movie - I only watched it on Sunday and decided to make myself the tea cup (egg nogg?) hat with the candy cane in it Cindy Lou wears :-). So if I'd knew I'd be on tbe Grinch table I'd totally wear this hat to your wedding :-)

Also an idea though there are not many different crafts - variety I mean.
A simple option would be to use the 7 colours but we won't have that many tables - we're having fewer but big ones.

were having cadburys purple for our colour theme, so we thought it wud be a good idea to have cadburys chocolate bars for our table names, twirl, crunchie, flake, curly wurly! my mouths watering as im writing these names! haha...xx

For the few tables we are having we are naming them after our gone family members, with their picture in a frame and stuff like that. Just to make sure they are enjoying our day with us :)

We have unfortunately lost alot of people between us, to us it was a no brainer. Alot of family will cry about it but i think its a nice way to make sure everyone bares a thought for those who can't be there. So far we just have 6 tables. Hoping not to have to add anymore. We have the pictures in frames already with a little poem etc, got to hide them when family come over though dont want to let the secret out.
It's heartbreaking doing it and everytime i look at my granny's i cry. (I have a tattoo mentioning her also) but so worth it.
