We are having a Scottish theme so naming the tables afta Scottish Glens with top table being Glencoe, where Henderson Clan originate x

Well we finally decided on having the titles of all the songs we are having played before, during & after the ceremony as our table names, gd look munchkinpie deciding on yr names, there are quite a few on here x
We are having our tables named after albums by The Kinks as they are my favourite band.
Top Table: The Village Green Preservation Society
Other tables: Misfits Schoolboys in Disgrace Muswell Hillbillies State of Confusion Low Budget

Just suggested we use the names of the service stations that we "frequent" on the M1, M6, M74 whilst we do our regular jaunt from Essex to Glasgow - lol dont think h2b was impressed

I hadnt really thought much about 'table names' the weddings Ive been to in the past have all had standard table numbers....Hmmm maybe we could think up something different for ours..

Thats been at the back of my mind Linzi and think its really fitting as we are likely to be making the wedding a farewell party also if Plan Australia keeps going to plan.
Kids have just suggested we use the names of the TV shows/Films that my other half has worked on .... dont think he will like it but i think its fab plus be good to use the kids idea.

No I dont think so but there are clear/white stones so can get away with putting diamond, opal, Zircon, moonstone or pearl.
I do like the spells Idea but mine and H2B family think we are weird enough as it is with us just having snakes!!

That was the reason we decided on the song titles tink, cause I couldn't think of anything else that we both liked, I think h2b would have liked the names of all the Villa players, but I told him that just wasn't going to happen, as much as I like football, my wedding day is going to be a footy free day x

We couldn't think of anything that we wouldn't have to explain to guests, so we've decided to stick with numbers! There'll be no number on top table though and we're still designing the table numbers and sticking them out of the sweet tree centrepieces!

We are going to use the table names (whichever we finally decide on) as a means of a Ice-Breaker on the tables Have a few questions on the table regarding the name ie if we go for programmes h2b has worked on like Dr Who the questions will be about that etc Think someone else said they were doing this too - might even have a prize for when the tables get their questions all right

GREEN CLAWS!!! Thanks, thats been bugging my for months and noone had any idea what I was going on about!
We were thinking something to do with Friends as we're massive fans and both had copies of all 10 series before we got together (so now we have 2 copies) but its hard, would I just do main characters with a few extras thrown in (Like Janice, Gunther, Richard etc), or do couples?
I guess I need to work out how many tables I'm having first, but my guess is around 10!
I like the idea of having them named after family names, I might start thinking about that!
I also had the idea of naming tables after loved ones that had passed but someone I mentioned it to thought it was a bit morbid! what does everyone else think?

we also thought about naming them with 'the one where' and then either putting our favourite episodes down, or making the up to times in our lives together like 'the one with the drunken night out' and 'the one with the proposal on mothers day' etc :-)

Arghh just had a thought, we can't think of a theme for the table names that means anything to the both of us (we'd need 16) so have decided to just use numbers and decorate them in a similar border style to the invites - but realised just now that we should probably skip 13 and go from 1-17 instead! oops! Don't think my brother appreciated me calling him at 8.30 to tell him, but he is supposed to be finalising artwork today before going to print Monday so he needed to know!

H2B is a massive Queen fan so we were going to have Queen song titles as our table names, hes a bohemian rhapsody kareoke king so top table would have to be that and i think we'll only need another 5 tops because we're only having 30 guests during the day. Ive left that to him to decide anyway

my theme is 1950's old hollywood glamour theme so we are having table pictures with 50's hollywood stars on them like audrey hepburn, charlie chaplin etc..... picture of them on one side and a quote from them on the other x
