Haha love it!! We are having masquerade ball in the evening, as well as the table names! Good luck with the first dance song!! Is it the one from the dream sequence? I love that song but we already have our first dance sorted :-)

im not planning on having a sit down meal unless i can blag our venue to do it for the price we have been quoted.
if we did i was thinking about our favourite comedians names as we both love comedy, or our fav sitcoms comedians would have been lee evans michael macintyre billy connolly peter kay frankie boyle etc....
or friends the big bang theory scrubs cheers the king of queens mike and molly etc...

my friend has a black and white themed wedding so she had all the tables names in black in white in different languages :) which was nice x
we have now decided on naming the tables after famous couples to give it a kinda celebrity/princessy theme :-) sad i kno lol wev got Posh and Becks, Tom and Katie Holmes. Will and Kate, Brangelina, Beyonce and Jay Z and Katy and Russell Brand so far!! xxx

I have no idea what we are doing. We had decided that we wanted to have classic kids games like kerplunk, connect 4, guess who etc. we had even talked about getting travel editions for the tables too but one of my friends is getting married next year and has decided that is what they are doing (minus the travel editions though) so we are back at square one now.

my H2B is half Greek and we look Crete hence why that is our honeymoon. So we are probablyy going to go for things we love in Crete such as the island istelf, fav beach, cocktail bar where he proposed, our fave retsuarant etc x

We're not decided yet. Centerpieces will be books so the obvious thing would be great love stories or novels that are meaningful to us. I also like the idea of famous couples out of literature and history. I myself ways like totally crazy ideas so I would rather like something more offbeat (wedding theme is 50s, polkadots) but h2b needs it toned down :-)

Our tables were named after different shades of pink! Our colour scheme was fucshia so that was the top table name. Others were Rose, Coral, frosty pink, Majenta Pink, Sweet pink, Hot pink etc We had 15 tables altogether!

it was a thought me and my h2b had whilst sorting the wedding favors and table centres... we are making them out of retro sweets so everyone is going to have some memories brought back at the reception... we are having a candy buffet of retro sweets also everything i can find from pinapple chunks to golfball bubblegum

Me and my h2b are big 80s fans! Especially power ballads, so we are toying with the idea of tables named after 80s bands, like 'Foreigner' 'Chicago' 'Mr Mister' 'Starship' etc, but we'll see! W'e're not really having a theme so it might seem a bit random! x

Right girls, we've decided what we're having for our table names, we are having 9 songs playing from the time the guests arrive through until the time we walk back down the aisle married, so we've decided to name the tables after all of the songs, because they all mean something to us x Thank goodness for that, another decision made, Yeah x

we're having the names of waterfalls as my h2b proposed under a waterfall at Ingleton in North Yorkshire. We're using both English and from around the world as we have guests coming from Finland and Germany. We've printed the picture in black and white which looks amazing as thie is our colour scheme.

Ive finally decided to have Beatles songs... :) seems fitting as me and h2b are huge beatles fans and everyone know my h2b is crazy insane about them he got the hugest tattoo say the beatles across his back! plus we having a beatles tribute band and our first dance to In My Life by the beatles plus im having a Beatles cake **pics in album** :) love all the stuff u girls having :) great thread xx

As we are only having a very small family and friends wedding, 30 in total and having a horse shoe table set up. It will only be 1 main top table and 2 guest tables and so if we decide to name them, it will be Wallace and Murron from Braveheart.

There's some brilliant ideas on here, I've loved reading this thread :0) We're having sunshine and rainbows as our theme as it has special meaning to us, but to represent the sunshine, we're having sunflowers - so we're naming the table after varieties of sunflower, but the English, not the latin.
