All photographers to their own packages, I'd suggest setting your budget and then "interviewing" a shortlist of approx 5 photographers, make your shortlist from your research on the net and any who may have been recommended to you. Most will do a basic package of just shots on a disc all the way through to super duper packages with a master album, parents albums, mini albums, thank you cards, prints etc. etc.

Meet around 5, have a look at what they can offer for your budget, then balance with how you feel about the photographer, do you click (excuse the pun) with him/her/them? There is so much to consider when choosing the best photographer and package for you.

    xx

We went to see one after he was recommended and was so impressed booked him there and then. We are going to have a story book, and we are paying quite a bit of money for him as it was important for us. Thinks we may get parents albums to x x

Yeah I want one but don't think we have the budget for it. If we do nearer the time we will book one other wise I'm going to buy a Polaroid and get one of the groomsmen to take pictures and stick them in a book and get guests to sign next to their picture x x

Beware buying a Polariod camera! IT's a fab idea and something that we definitely would have done (my H2b is into photography) however, you can buy a secondhand camera quite cheaply but no where makes the film any more so to get film is mega expensive!!! This really isn't a budget option! Trust me! x

No worries! It's such a shame as it's a lovely idea for a wedding! I hope someday polariod makes a come back. xx

You can buy a brand new Polariod camera for about £150 that is a camera printer combined but you'd need someone to man it as i've read that it doesn't hold a huge amount of photos. It's also quite a pricey camera to leave lying around.... x
