Hey, was just wondering if there are any traditions/superstitions about what you should NOT buy for yourself? I am sure I heard that your garter should be bought for you but I'm really not sure.

What I mean really is, is it bad luck to buy any part of your outfit for yourself? Are there any traditions about Garters?

I remember the garter my sister wore for her wedding day and I kinda thought it would be nice for me to wear the same one(unfortunately its lost). I wanted my garter to be part of the Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue thing. I really dont know anything about wedding traditions so could anyone help me at all?

I bought my own garter.... my nan originally bought me one, but we both agreed the material was far too rough so I shouldn't wear it. So I ended up buying one myself from la senza :-)
