I'm a keyworker in Offender rehabilitation. Trying to save some money to be able to complete the final stage of my training to be a Forensic Psychologist.
Before this (while I was studying) I was working as a mental health support worker, and worked a lot with young adults with Autism and complex needs.
My OH works in Customer Service at the moment but has just applied for the same company I work for, to be an Integration Worker in an offender hostel.
Also, I know what you mean Teresa. We are having a lot of cuts at the moment, as we are a charity funded by the local councils. I work out of two boroughs, and one of them are looking to cut our services which means either a) my workplace will need to create another job for me to make up my contracted hours, b) redundancy or c) I will be let go with no financial compensation what so ever - I am still on the probationary period until July, so they could let me go at any time without me having a leg to stand on to complain. Considering I am getting married in July, it would be a wonderful time to be left high and dry...

I work for a law firm doing Health & Safety training for all new starters and existing staff around all of our offices in the UK. I also do the day to day running of the Health & Safety throughout all of our offices.
OH is a qualified electrician with his own business, he also works nights in a petrol station to help boost his income when the electrical work is slow.
