everyone keeps asking if we are having a big wedding but im not sure.
we are having 70 day guests and about 150 in the evening is this big?

i have no idea either i wouldnt say 70 day guest is all that big im having about the same at my recption. but not at the cermony that will be just the bridal party (only way i could get h2b to agree to not run away to get married). not really sure on evening numbers at the minute hsi mums being a nightmere with her list(she wont bloody give me one lol ) and i dont really have many more ppl to invite.

We are having 32 for the ceremony and inviting another 20 at night.
We are having 60 all day and a total of 120 at evening reception.

We're having 60-70 day guests, and another 40-50 in the evening - I don't think this is too big, roughly 30 from each side at the wedding itself - the day will be fairly intimate and we'll have time to spend with everyone there.

I've seen big when I went to a hindu wedding - they had 300 people there for the whole day!!!!

We are inviting between 50 and 60 to the reception and up to another 60 for the evening.I am hoping however that we get some rejections lol as we are on a package of 50 for the reception and 100 for the evening so each person over that is going to cost us extra.Don't want not to invite enough though and end up paying for places that are not used! x

70ish to the day, our evening could be anything from 20 - 40, we've yet to mention our wedding plans to the guests, so don't know who'd be up for it.

We're having 50 to the day, and a further 40-50 (so, 90-100 in total) to the evening. I would class our day as small, and evening as small-average.
I'd say that anything less than 60 to the day is on the smaller side, with 60/70-100 being about average. I'd say 100-150 to the day is large, and 150 plus very large; most people seem to have between 70-100 to the day.
For the evening, I'd say anything up to 200 is average-large; anything over 200 is large.

I call mine a medium sized wedding, 40 in the day plus 10 children and another 40 adults at night
But I class a big wedding as having all the traditional weddingy things... church, car, photographer, videographer, bridesmaids, page boys, etc etc.....

we've invited 23 people for the whole thing (ceremony and reception) so with us 2 and our daughter it will be 28. I don't think I could manage with any more people there, im terrified of it enough as it is (terrible agoraphobia), I hate the idea of all of those people there watching us, waiting for us to make speeches and basically making a huge fuss of us. But thats just me, I'm sure for most people 100+ people is just fine

We've got 80 coming for the day and wedding breakfast and then another 40 coming for the evening. 80 is more than we were planning on originally! It just started to creep up, but we capped it at 80 and everyone we want can come, plus a few extra people who we originally couldn't invite due to space at the registry office, but now can as we changed ceremony venue.

I thought our wedding was fairly moderately sized, we're having 56 for the day, then probably 120 for the evening. But the more I read on here (and hack out our guestlists!) the more I think it's actually on the small side!

We only invited the people who we consider closest to us - so had 17 guests (would've been 18 but my auntie was too ill to travel) - so with us there was 19 altogether.
