We're meeting our florist in a few weeks, I know they have lots of experience and advice to give but i'm utterly clueless about flowers and want some kind of idea of what flowers to have on the day before we go.
I definitely want real flowers and am after fish bowls as my centrepieces. I'm just wondering for the bouquets and what to use? Our colour is turquoise, im thinking mostly a white bouquet with maybe a bit of pink but not sure what flowers to use? Just wondering what everyone else has had? Thanks xx

I'm having roses. Our venue has a rose garden which our drinks reception will be in so wanted to bring that into it.

I just searched on p!ntere$t for hours until I found the perfect bouquet. Our colour scheme is aqua & our flowers are mainly ivory with a hint of soft pink/peach.

I did same as mrsrobson2be search online and save photos of what you like and the colours or sort of flowers you want, I haven't a clue about flowers but searched and searched and just saved the ones I liked on the iPad and when I went for meeting I showed her and she understood completely and wrote it all down and then asked if I wanted these or that like corsages and top table flowers ect so take what you can with you ( what style, colours, flowers you like) and they will help with the rest :) But off top of my head think about How many tables and take photo of the centrepieces with flowers ur thinking Any other flowers you want for reception, If you want/ need them for the ceremony How many button holes ( and pictures of what you want) Corsages how many ( usually Motg and motb) Bridesmaid and flowergirl ( whether u want small version of your bouquet or sow thing different) Your bouquet ( look at what shape you like and take photos with you) Whether you want a throwing bouquet If you want thank you flowers too Can't think of anymore lol x

I love roses! I knew I wanted red grand prix roses for my bouquet. My bridesmaids had ivory roses. Absolutely gorgeous. Alternatively ask your florist what will be in season as generally they are a bit cheaper.

I want roses in my bouquet too... Its my favorite flowers and matches our theme.. I think you can put beautiful candle-bras and flowers for centerpieces, you will find online. I love scented candles as my center pieces.

Thanks. We've gone with ivory and pale pink roses and carnations in the bouquets and we have fish bowls as our centre pieces. Got a meeting in january to go over the details a bit more :) xx
