Maybe thank you gifts for bridal party if you are doing them? Thinking about hiring/buying other halfs suit?

Underwear? Could you 'bank' some money with a hair dresser or beautician (obviously as long as they've been around for a while and unlikely to close)

Jewellery for you and bridal party, decorations for the venue, flowers (if having artificial), thank you presents, invites, table numbers/names and any personal little bits you might want like a wishing tree, guest book etc. I can't think of anything else at the moment xxx

Wow you are doing really well :-) so far we have venue and photographer. I have just received some sample craft bits to put together some mock invites, good luck me ;-) It's a way off but the more things I look at and buy/put deposit down for, the more real it seems lol.... Really exciting & I'm determined to be organised so that I can enjoy the run up to and the big day itself!

Yes that's what I thought kjs2016. Transport, church and reception venue need paying for next year so any little bits I can get now I am doing. Also when I see bargains can't resist haha. A family friend is a photographer so he is doing them for us we've just hot to sit down with him and tell him exactly what we want :) eeeek exciting :-) when are you getting married? X

Definitely start pulling together crafty bits, especially if there are any offers on, 3 for 2s etc.

One of the first things I bought was a cake topper lol. We got our save the dates, blank invitations and things to put in/on them but doing them in the holidays, favours and boxes, my jewellery, ordered my shoes etc. We also have my dress and suits. We're choosing our flowers next weekend too hopefully. I've just ordered some Groom socks and boxers for the wedding day too! The bay is your new best friend!
My best way of saving for the big things is transfer X amount to savings every month but buy a tin that you can't open without a tin opener or one you smash at the end and put your spare change in and a few notes every now and again. I started mine in February and have about £300 in my tin. OH manages the savings account andtheres £1000 in there xx

We are getting married on the 9th July 16! What a lovely surprise from your sister, every little helps, it's always nice to hear stories like that :-) I am considering creating my own sweetie/chocolate table.... Just need to look into costs and I guess with things like sweets would need to buy a lot nearer the time!! AprilS61 - I have got a money jar which can't be opened unless smashed, I am saving £2 coins in it at the moment? It's a really good idea.x

Any little table decorations, centrepieces, bubbles, disposable cameras, confetti etc. Guest book, garter, shoes, bridal emergency kit, accessories?
Kjs2016 - we also have one of those money pots! I love it - no temptation to steal a few £s from it! We're also putting £2 coins in it - and the occasional note and hopefully that can be put towards honeymoon spending money!

Mrs M get him practising will it now! My godson was going to do the same at his mums wedding (he was only two at the time) and they practised for months beforehand with the cushion and we had to take the rings off him because he was swinging the pillow above his head and everything!
Back to the topic though, if you can afford it, buy it now, but stick to a budget!
