We are having my H2B's mate do our wedding invites as he is a graphic designer, just had the PDF sent over to me to see what we think. This is the first I have seen of them and to be honest I was imaging them differently. I do like them just think it was a shock that they are nothing like I imagined, but want to change some things around. What do you ladies think?

Think I would change 'union of love' to just 'Lee & Claire'.

I love the insides but not so sure on the front but depends on you as a couple and the style/theme of your wedding...

I was expecting it to be less bold that is what has shocked me most I think. I prefer the inside to the outside too. Not sure what to do. The front reminds me of a tattoo. xx

Yes it does look a bit like a tattoo, the are funky and different which is nice as everyone will remember it but you need to like it too... why dont you goggle some images and get some other ideas and pupose them to him/her. then he/she will also udnerstand your style better xx

Hi labelle it's the female mentioned first when you're not married, after the wedding it is male first. They are really unique so think they will be remembered-the colours work really well together as well x

I think if it just said wedding invitation and the date would look better. Get rid of the cherub and the roses like yo said but also the scroll going round too. Then I think they would look perfect.

I agree with everyone it does look tattoo like. I also think theres a tad too much going on, on the front and if you change the cherub and the roses it would look much better. I too like the inside better and if you made the changes u mentioned it would look perfect. Do the colours tie in with your theme of the wedding or ae they chose by the designer? x

Thanks everyone he is a friend of h2b's who offered to do it for us and as he is a designer I just left him to it but did tell him i wanted a filigree design with some hearts, lots of swirls in purple as our colour scheme is cadbury's purple. Xx

I like the first design but I can see what you wanted!
Personally I'd lose the cherub and the name box from the front and centre the design with "Claire and Lee" on the scroll, Or on the front have a heart with your names in instead of the shield and the date on the scroll and use that lovely pale feathery design in yours to put behind it instead of the dark stripes! Get rid of the "We fell in love..." bit from inside top and put the guests names in there! Then not have the (for want of a better word) tattoo at the bottom and put in rsvp info instead!
