The florist that I was going to use (mother of h2b's mate) contacted us yesterday and said she couldn't do the flowers. Have just got off the phone with florist local to the venue (who was recommended) who has quoted me the following for the flowers that I want:

Handtied Bridal Bouquet - £60-70 Orange Calla Lillies
2 Handtied Bridesmaid Bouquets - £40 each Orange Calla Lilles
    5 Button Holes - £5 - £7.00 each Again Orange Calla Lilly
2 Corsages for mum's - £5.95 each Ivory Calla Lilly

She reckons that the total will cost about £190 but is going to contact wholesalers to get a more definite price for July as they can fluctuate in price and I know Calla Lillies are quite pricey.

So my question: Do you think that this is reasonable or not? I admit I'm not that clued up when it comes to flowers

    Thanks in advance

That is a brillian price. I am having a handtied bridal bouquet with Purple calla lilles and diamontes etc . 4 small hand tied bridesmaid bouquets, 4 wrist corsages, 2 mother of the bride corsages, 1 groom button hole and 6 button holes for grooms men at a price of £300

I thought it sounded reasonable but wasn't completely sure. Part of my package with the venue includes all the floral centrepieces so don't have to pay for them on top which is great. The venue allocates £150 for the centrepieces and meeting the florist for those on Monday so am hoping she can do the calla lillies as the centrepieces on that budget. Only having 6 tables including top table x

I want to have calla lilies for my Wedding, so this has been helpful for me in terms of budget! It does sound like you have got yourself a good price, especially as you've been let down close to the last minute. Hope the price doesn't go up for you....good luck x

Yeah me too, think the price does vary dramatically with different florists, Checked another one out and they charge a minimum of £95 for the bridal bouquet and that doesn't specify which flowers so am guessing that's for the cheapest flowers they use (massive mark up). The £60-£70 for my bouquet would be 10-12 lillies and foliage too
