Hi ladies how lush is the weather lately sunshine!

anyways long story short i've had to change my wedding colours (aqua/yellow) as my daughter ages 11 doesnt fit in her BM dress so i've gone out and bought a purple prom type dress which she and my littlest said they liked i think i had PMT at the time and didnt realize what i was doing becouse now i've got to mess about changing things so now my colours are ivory/yellow and purple not everyones cup of tea ....and now i find out my partner likes purple better anyway so it's all good ; )
heres a pic of her in her dress what do you think?

also forgot to put shes wearing a size 14 dress which is my youngest and i got her a size 15 so hopefully it will fit or it can be altered ; )

also some moodboards i'm thinking it will look ok for a spring wedding......

Love your moodboards! Purple & yellow are complimentary colours aren't they?
Plus if you're worried about it looking too rich you can always mix in lighter shades of purple easily.

I love purple and yellow together! And I think it very much a spring colour theme! If you find it is too bright or brash for you you could always add in some lemon and lilac to tone it down a bit :) xxx

to be honest when you said yellow and purple I had reservations but when you put them together in the mood boards it looks fantastic! Works really well. and she looks fab int he dress too :) x

thanks for the kind words ladies, i went mad on the confetti website and bought lots of bits, i've made a table planner with out the lettering so its ready, got sone purple table confetti and some purple butterflies that ive glues on to some ivory photo frames for the menu to tie everything in, i have ivory butterfly place cards and ivory favour boxes, the sash colour will be yellow plus the tall vase in the middle will have a mixture of all three colours heres hoping it all comes together ; ) x

I think the colours are really lovely together. I went into a well known card shop the other day and all there advertising for Easter stuff is yellow and purple and I had never seen those colours together before and would never in a million years thought of it but I really liked it.
I would go for the more vibrant colours though as they just stand out much better. xx
