I found some rather funky and cool invitations online last night that me and OH really like, I've put pics in my photos under Invitation Ideas. We are thinking of having the blue ones as our theme will be blue and white or cream, what do you guys think?

Not sure if we go with these to buy them or try making our own versions, as the cards plus RSVPs and guest info inserts would be more than £4 per invite, not a small sum of cash!

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

I think they are lovely but very expensive for what they are. It would be easy to make them yourself and that way you can adapt them to exactly what you want.

Make your own using that as an inspiration. Wrapping paper perhaps?

Great ideas guys, I was thinking of designing something similar in Photoshop now I've been trained at work to use it, then go from there. I'll have a play at some point and come up with some samples :)

I'm making something similar to that design and I'm using some paper I found and a guillotine to cut to size then some personalised ribbon to lay over it saying either wedding invite, evening invite, thank you etc etc etc. It worked out rather cheaply as I got 44m of ribbon for £20 which does all my invites, oos, place cards, thank yous, crayon packs etc and I paid about £10 for all the paper (with some left over to do a scrap book afterwards.)
