As everyone must know by now, my wedding is going to be inspired from peacock feathers. I am struggling as to make a decision of what my main colour is going to be, for table dressing, chair sashes, bridesmaids dresses, groomsmans cravatt.
I am thinking teal, but still haven't made my mind up.
The colours are between teal, cadburys purple, peacock blue and turquoise.
STUCK!
Anyone have any opinions?xx

I love peacock blue this was my next choice after cadburys purple and i keep thinking now i wish i had gone with the blue. Too much done nowto change it though

I wanted teal for our wedding but H2B wanting deep purple so were going with the purple! To be honest im so glad i listened to him as we found some lush stuff in the same purple! i like the sound of peacock blue though to be different!! but my heart lies with purple :) xx

My vote is for teal, but I see peacock blue is a clear winner. Since your theme is peacocks, peacock blue would make the most sense. I'm just strangely obsessed with teal at the moment. And terracotta... not sure why. Neither of them are my colours, lol.

Cadbury Purple is a very popular colour at the minute so you can lots of extras and niknaks in that colour. But I really like teal and peacock blue. They're all nice strong colours that make an impact. If had to choose one it would be teal x

i'd mix peacock blue and teal as it matches well with the feathers :)
(i'm having an aqua blue and butterfly theme, but most likely going to change that a bit to aqua & butterflies vs. orange and pumpkins :D)

Anybody got any examples of peacock blue? Just googled peacock blue bridesmaids dresses, and all sorts are coming up. They just look like teal to me lol! Helppp xx

Do you have to have a MAIN colour?? Peacock feathers themselves dont have a main colour to them, so personally i would mix and match all the colours together so maybe have the peacock blue sash's, with a light purple for the table runners, the favours could be purple blue purple blue and the flowers for centre pieces you could add in the green and pale yellow as well to get the full peacock effect?

Thats what the threads for Hails lol :) Trying to chose a main colour for BM dresses and such like. I like the idea of having a peacock blue, but when ive gone to google peacock blue bm dresses, they look teal to me? I will be having all the other colours in the decor. Just really need to choose a main colour, and I am struggling lol xx

Thats what I mean why have ONE colour for bridesmaids??? Have them in the same dress but depending on how many you have, have one in the blue, one in the purple, one in the green etc????
All the dresses ive seen are teal too lol but if you ask for some sample fabic to be sent you can have a poper look as computers are not always the best for showing off the right colours.

Or you could have them in a chocolate dress?? so they look like the back ground of the feathers? or you could use the purple as the main dress colour and use the blue for the decorations etc. look at these.......

aqua might be also quite similar to peacock blue / or slightly more turquoise :) have a look in my pics if u like i got aqua :D
