Lol i mean i know what we end up "doing" haha

But are you meant to stay till the end of the reception?

We're staying in the venue on that night time as are many of the guests!

We've gotta pay in advance if we want any food after the weddin reception but they're only offering bacon sarnies

I mean i like something to eat once ive drank otherwise im ill the next day!

Plus we're out in the middle of no where so im certain there's no takeaways nearby lol

    xxx

p.s im hungry atm which is probs why this has popped into my mind!

    xx

    Happily Married! :) xxx

You could always make up a mini-hamper to put in your room for after the reception with all the goodies you like, you could make it really romantic - strawberries etc!

I think were staying til the end....Ive never been one to leave a party early and I wont start now lol. I do think a hamper sounds like a great idea. Obviously include some things that will actually fill you up, strawberrys and chocolate spread are for other things! lol

We're at the hotel that the wedding and reception will be taking place so will go to bed and enjoy ourselves.

Not sure who's job it is to sort out the guests at the end of the evening though. I think we say bye and then the best man and grooms man deal with everyone??? Am I right??

the idea of a hamper sounds brilliant, our buffet is being served at 7 so we will be starving by the end of the night, so a hamper will be most convenient x

I managed about 2 glasses of wine and very little food all day - kept going on adrenaline! There was plenty of buffet left as Sean insisting in over-ordering as he was panicking it would run out. The manager of the hotel was very surprised to find a friend and I filling our plates at 1am when he thought everyone had left. Sean won't eat less than 3 hours before going to bed.

I stayed in a Hotel once and they had what I call a 'Michelle Bath' as I'm 6ft tall the bath must have been about 6.4 long as I could for the first time in my life lie down fully in a bath and not have to bend in some way haha!!

I've never found another one since :( lol

i dont think the whole "bride and groom leaving first adn gettin departure annoucned" or "leaving and leave the best man etc to sort everyone out" is done so much now a days..i think thats a tradition that is slowly dying down casue ive been to many a wedding where we get to the end and the b & g are still dancing/drinking/chatting with everyone at the end!

defo goin to do the hamper :D xx
